How to: Delete a database.
Solution:
Open Windows Explorer, select the database to delete, and select 'Delete' from the 'File' menu to delete the database.
1) If the database to delete is still open, close the database..
2) Open Windows Explorer:
a) Click 'Start' todisplay the Windows 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Programs' from the menu. (A submenu appears.)
c) Select 'Windows Explorer' from the submenu. (The Exploring window appears.)
3) Locate the database file to delete:
a) Select the drive where the database file is located.
b) Select the folder that contains the file. (The database file appears in the Exploring window.)
NOTE: If the file is in a subfolder, continue selecting folders until the database file is displayed.
4) Select the database file. (The file is highlighted.)
5) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Delete'. (The Confirm File Delete dialog box appears.)
6) Click 'Yes' to confirm the deletion. (The database is deleted.)
